NPR is sponsored by all kinds of companies and groups. This time though it said that NPR is sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, which is working for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equal rights in communities, etc. I was apalled. In a few years, my children will understand that and know that their dad is listening to it. I can not in good conscience, continue to listen to NPR now, because I will not take the chance that my children will grow up thinking it’s acceptable. If I have to go to the ends of the earth, I will protect my children from influences like this. And it starts with changing the dial. I miss NPR sometimes, but this is my stand. The other radio station is a lot better than I thought it would be.
